love song blog paragraph for to whom it may concern by the civil wars

Question: what does the song tell us about the nature of love?

The love song, To whom it may concern by the group The Civil Wars it,explains how love is hard to find. In the beginning of the song it says, " why are you so far from me. In my arm is were you are to be". The songs says that love is like a quest in search of your perfect partner in life. It also is saying that without love one can feel lonely or a "gap" in life. Without love one may feel that there is something missing and that one's life is not fulfilled until they have experienced love for themselves. The people the song are referring to are the ones who want to find someone who can always be there for them and that truly care about them always. In the song when it says, " the way your hand feels around my waist, the way you laugh, the way your kisses taste" it is saying how love can make one feel a sense of belonging. Since that person may end up being that person's one true, they would then have someone to be there for them and would feel lonely anymore. The song is also trying to say that love isn't easy since one doesn't always know if that person will end up being that person's one true love. Love is about taking a chance and willing to share who they are with another with the chance that that person may not end up being with them in the end.
