The essential ingredients for a stellar book is well developed characters and  an engaging storyline. The importance of well develop characters in making a stellar book is it forms a connection with the reader with the characters in the book. The connection engages the reader and makes one care about the character in the book. With the appreciation of the character, the reader will want to reader more of the book. The characters in the book are key in forming a storyline  and without well developed characters the storyline would not be as exciting as it could have potentially been. If a character in a book is  undeveloped in that the personality and motives are not appealing or enticing than the reader will not want to continue reading since the reader doesn't care about the characters in the book. It is also important to have an engaging storyline in a stellar book. The story line in the book must have suspense and drama to draw the reader in wanting to read more. The topic or concept of the book must also be appealing to a wide range of people in order intrigue the reader into wanting to read the book. The topic doesn't have to be appealing in a good way necessarily  but appeal to one's interest. The storyline is what makes up the book and if the storyline is lacking in details and has an unclear concept then the book will not be stellar. Well developed characters and an engaging story line are essential ingredient's for a stellar book.
