Dream Poem

A red wool cloth
wrapped around another
a binding to hold
a blanket to cover

We are a tree
together we grow big and tall
for I am the roots
we won't fall

like a boat that is at sea
I am the anchor at bay
the boat will sail and go on
but I will stay

dreams are for the dreamers
and stars are for the gazers
I am still for the believers
in search of the treasures

I have to be the roots
I have to be the anchor
I have to be the cloth
that holds everything together
